2011, a look ahead

The Menahga Arts Guild's goals for 2011:
  1. January-May, Art & Award Display in local businesses
  2. April 1st, Scholarship Rib Dinner at the Menahga VFW
  3. May-September, Possibly begin the Arts Guild Shop & Gallery, downtown Menahga. (Contact us by e-mail or phone if you are interested in being a part of this!)
  4. June, 2nd Annual Youth Art Camp (ages 5-12), Menahga School
  5. July, Mid-Summer Craft Festival on Main St.

    I think we should run an ad in the local papers Bugler, Messenger and Enterprise before the next meeting to attract local artists and supporters and encourage them to attend a meeting to see what we are about!.

    Great idea Steve! Will you write it up? Doesn't have to be very long. Next meeting is January 18th, 5:30pm, Cottage House Cafe.
